International Women’s Day 2025 — Stepping forward in solidarity to help #AccelerateAction for gender equality

07 March 2025

At Rigby Cooke Lawyers, we strive to cultivate an environment that empowers all individuals, regardless of gender, to excel and reach their full potential.

International Women’s Day is a timely reminder to acknowledge and celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of women globally, while also reflecting on the progress made and the work that still needs to be done for the advancement of women.

Every International Women’s Day, we celebrate the achievements and contributions made by the women across our firm and stand in solidarity for a world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. We continue to be committed to strategies and activities that forge positive progress and support the acceleration of gender equality.

This year, Rigby Cooke is supporting Dress for Success. We chose Dress for Success because the Charity is committed to breaking down barriers to employment by providing work-appropriate wear for women. If you would like to make a donation, please click here.

Commenting on International Women’s Day, Bill Karvela, Managing Partner, said

“We celebrate and recognise all the 45 talented women at Rigby Cooke, including partners, lawyers and support staff, who continue to contribute to the growing success of our firm. We are proud to support Dress for Success through a charitable donation and facilitating the collection of clothes to bridge the gap and accelerate action towards gender equality.”
